Unplugging from the Social Network

Today I made a conscious decision to deactivate my Facebook account. This was not a decision based solely on rebellion of current "globalized" socialistic structures and communications, narcissistic views, and unrealistic or pretentious representations of human identity featured within the network; it was more of an act to free myself of an unhealthy addiction to distraction and time consuming matters which are not important or necessary in my life.

It's a good feeling... we'll see how long it lasts. :)

  1. Day 2) Still feels good. :) A little weird. Missing a few people. Will need to pop back in and get some email addresses, etc...

  2. Day 2 Later) I popped in and out today about 3 times. I miss people... some of them, but it gave me a sick feeling. A nauseous feeling and a knot in my stomach. I think I pick up on too much energy - even cybernetically (if that's a word). Like TMI in a physiological sense. I'm getting to the point where I can't handle being in public or around a lot of people for extended periods of time. It's draining and affects me for days after. Maybe it's just a disturbance in the Quantum Field. Maybe it's the portion of space or the vibrational wave of the cosmos that the Earth is currently passing through. Maybe there's more to this new age transformational crap than I realize. I'm becoming detached and it's not intentional. Maybe it's in preparation for something I don't yet understand...

  3. Day 3) Emails:

    1. Facebook - Welcome back to Facebook
    2. Facebook - You have deactivated your Facebook account

Although this occurred less frequently today than yesterday. Withdrawal spasms are decreasing. :P
